Jessica Harrington will run Jetara in Saturday’s Grade 1 Nathaniel Lacy & Partners Solicitors Novice Hurdle on day one of Leopardstown’s Dublin Racing Festival.

Successful in her last three outings over hurdles, Jetara was an impressive winner of a Grade 3 mares' contest at the venue over Christmas. This will be the six-year-old's first time to tackle male rivals and she'll bid to add to her trainer’s great record of training big winners at Leopardstown.

"She's got plenty of experience because she ran over hurdles last year so, basically, she's really a second-year novice in theory," Harrington told journalist Dave Keena.

"She's done well, she jumps well and they're going to have to give her 7lbs. She's above average and I think the geldings will have to be above average to give her 7lb.

"I love the fact that I've got a horse now that is good enough to go back and be competitive for the (Dublin Racing) Festival. It's been very lucky for me, so hopefully the luck will keep carrying on."

Jetara is generally a 9/2 chance for Saturday's festival opener with Predators Gold heading the market at 2/1.
