A 19-race maiden prior to this evening, the Andrew Slattery trained Harry The Rogue finally managed to get his head in front when winning the concluding Best Of Luck To Our Neighbours Punchestown Ahead Of The 2025 Festival Handicap at Naas.

Tracking the leaders into the straight under Sam Coen, the 7/1 chance was produced to deliver his challenge over a furlong out.

Eventually heading Man Is King over 150 yards from the finish, the four-year-old soon asserted and went on.

However, he then had to dig deep close home to hold the late run of Roderick by a neck.

Andy Slattery said: “I’m delighted for his owner Seamus McGrath. He’s actually working tonight — he foals for Croom House.

“He loves to have a horse and every one he’s had with me has won.

“He’s often his own worst enemy running free and today we decided to ride him a bit handier, and it worked out.

“I’d say when he learns to settle he’ll get a mile and a quarter, and he’ll have a bit of fun with him.”
