Henderson plans for big stars Nicky Henderson has outlined loose plans for Binocular and Zaynar, with a crack at the World Hurdle in March seemingly on the agenda for the latter. He told At The Races: "Zaynar will start in the Ascot Hurdle again which he won last year - its a race that suits him. We'll keep creeping up in distance with him and then to the Cleeve [Hurdle] which he won last year and then instead of coming back to two miles we'll go up to three." The master of Seven Barrows also spoke of more fluid plans for the Champion Hurdler Binocular: "Binocular seems really well at the moment. We're still deciding whether to wait for Cheltenham or to go to Newcastle which then leads you into Kempton. I was talking to AP [McCoy] about it on Monday and we're still not quite convinced which way to go. He is in very good form though." When asked about the scale of the training achievement in getting Binocular ready to win in March, Henderson added: "The season hadn't gone too well up until Cheltenham. We got him back in time - just! I'd appreciate it if things went a little smoother this year and everything seems to be going well." McCoy has already spoken this week of the esteem in which he holds Binocular, describing him as "a special little horse". The champion jockey added: "He's been a favourite of mine from the first time I sat on him. He always had the potential to be a great horse and in the Champion Hurdle he proved it. How often have you seen a horse going as well as him two out in a Champion Hurdle?"
