Thomas Gibney reports his stable star Lion Na Bearnai to be in good form ahead of the National Hunt winter campaign.

The 33/1 shock winner of the Irish Grand National in April is back in training for past eight to ten weeks and is being lined up for a crack at the Hennessy Gold Cup at Newbury on December 1st.

Gibney said after the success of Orpheus Valley at Roscommon this evening: "Lion Na Bearnai is in good form and is back in around eight to ten weeks.

"He will go for the Hennessy at Newbury but he will probably run in the Carvills Hill Chase at Punchestown first."
