Ado McGuinness is optimistic that Hightimeyouwon can double his Dundalk tally in the Christmas Party Nights At Dundalk Stadium Rated Race on Friday.

The seven-year-old gelding has six career victories with five coming on turf.

He last tasted success at Leopardstown in August and has since been placed on the sand in Laytown and Dundalk.

McGuinness said: "He is in good form, he is holding his form.

"He worked well in Dundalk last week, we were very happy with him. Fingers crossed he will run a big race.

"Adam (Caffrey) is on him and the way he is riding he might not have the 5lb claim for too long. He is riding very well."

The trainer also gave an update on plans for replenishing his stock.

"We haven't got that many horses left for the rest of the year, we'd have about 15 for Dundalk," he said.

"Some of them are end of season handicappers we have kept going and we have a few youngsters. Hopefully we can bang another few winners in before Christmas.

"Rhasidat (who won in Dundalk yesterday) was a breeze-up filly and we have been very lucky with the breeze-up horses, and we will probably go back in and buy a lot more breezers this year. We have just been lucky with them the last couple of years.

"We get a good stint up here (Dundalk) with them as well.

"Tiger Belle (Listed winner), Rush Queen and Rhasidat were all bought for the one syndicate, an investment syndicate and they will all go, and they have all won. Stephen (Thorne, assistant trainer) has done a good job with them."
