Last Waltz, beaten just over half a length when third to Coolmore in Sunday's Group Three C.L & M.F Park Stakes at the Curragh, has been sold to continue her career in America with a view to running at next month's Breeders' Cup meeting at Keeneland.

Trained in Ireland by David Wachman, the Danehill Dancer filly, out of a half-sister to Lockinge winner Keltos, has been bought by Peter Bradley, who has an enviable record of success with his purchases from Ireland, including recent Beverly D Stakes winner Watsdachances.

The Chad Brown-trained Watsdachances, formerly handled by Ger Lyons, was awarded last month's Arlington Park feature following the disqualification of Ralph Beckett's Secret Gesture.

Bradley said: "Last Waltz is a filly I had my eye on since her win at Roscommon in August. Ed Daley, with whom I work, called me after her run in the Flame Of Tara Stakes at the Curragh. She showed real talent but had no racing luck that day.

"Over the next two weeks we were able to strike a deal where she ran for Mrs Stockwell once more in Ireland prior to coming to the USA. She will ship to Chad Brown this week and we are looking forward to the possibility of running her in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf race at Keeneland."

Praising the Irish racing industry, Bradley said: "The quality of racing in Ireland lends itself to buying turf horses for the States. There is a certain criteria I look for and it can translate into top-class form over here when I get it right.

"I've been fortunate enough to purchase Graded stakes horses such as Watsdachances, Brahms, Pyrus, Venturi and Helmsman. With any luck, I am hopeful that Last Waltz can be added to that list."
