Latest report says Gowran unfit for racing Gowran Park are now reporting the track unfit for racing ahead of tomorrow's card at the Kilkenny venue. Officials revealed just over half an hour ago that there would be an 8am inspection ahead of the meeting tomorrow but that the course was raceable. The latest report, however, states that water is lodging on parts of the track and course is currently unfit for racing. General manager Eddie Scally had earlier been positive about the prospects of racing:- "The ground is very heavy. We're going to have an inspection at 8am. "It's the heavy rain we've been having, but we're hoping the track can dry out. "We think we've a good chance of racing, but we're going to inspect in the morning and see." Racing is due to get underway at 1.50pm tomorrow with two quality Grade Twos on the card. Bog Warrior is due to make his return to action in the Red Mills Chase while Un De Sceaux is the star attraction in the four-runner Red Mills Trial Hurdle.
