Lyons vies for Listed honours with Funk Psychedelic Funk bids for a Naas hat-trick in the Coolmore War Command Rochestown Stakes on Sunday. The Ger Lyons-trained juvenile was an authoritative winner on his debut at the County Kildare circuit in late April and clearly learnt from the experience judged by his hugely impressive display at the track almost three weeks ago. He now tests the water at Listed level and faces five opponents, including Aidan O'Brien's Peace Envoy, who bids to bounce back from a short-priced defeat at the Curragh. Moritzburg was third behind Psychedelic Funk on his racecourse introduction and trainer Mick Halford hopes he can at least close the gap. He said: " He ran a very nice race the first day and he's improved since. "He's a horse we like, but it does look a very good race, so we'll see what happens. "It should be informative and we'll know where we stand afterwards." O'Brien also runs Lundy, a recent winner at Leopardstown and the mount of his son, Donnacha. A small but select field of six runners is completed by Richard Hannon's British raider Hakeem, who won like a 1-16 favourite should at Nottingham last time.
