McCreery on weather watch for Mary Tudor Ground conditions will decide whether Mary Tudor will take her chance in the Derrinstown Stud 1,000 Guineas Trial at Leopardstown on Sunday. Although winless after three juvenile appearances, Willie McCreery's filly performed with credit in the Debutante Stakes and the Weld Park Stakes to offer plenty of hope for the future. She opened her account with an impressive display on her reappearance in last month's Salsabil Stakes at Navan and McCreery will make a late call on whether to give her another run this weekend ahead of an intended tilt at the Tattersalls Irish 1,000 Guineas on May 27th. He said: "If a lot of rain comes she won't run. "We'll keep our options open, but she will definitely go to the Curragh (for the Irish 1,000 Guineas)."
