Ado McGuinness, more associated with the Flat in recent years, has two live chances over jumps at Fairyhouse this afternoon.

The Lusk handler saddles Annie's Angel in the Powerscreen Handicap Hurdle as she aims to follow up on a victory at the course on Monday.

In the following Protection & Prosperity Handicap Hurdle Granlahan bids for a breakthrough success after three runner-up efforts. He was beaten by a short-head at Killarney last Sunday.

“We've two nice chances,” said McGuinness at Dundalk on Friday night.

“I was unlucky not to have trained two winners over hurdles last week. One was beaten a nose and the other won on Monday.

“They are back in again and they both have good chances.

“I did train a few hurdlers before and these horses came to me. I enjoy it.

“My son Tadhg is my assistant and he helps me with them. He's enjoying it and he has his amateur licence out as well so he's going to do a bit of riding. We'll have a bit of fun with them.”
