Melody in tune for Warwick Willie Mullins has booked Glens Melody for a return visit to Warwick next weekend for the OLBG Mares' Hurdle. The mud-loving six-year-old won a mares' event at the same venue last time out on Classic Chase day, staying on to beat Mischievous Milly by three-quarters of a length as the 7-4 favourite. But her liking for plenty of cut in the ground means she is not guaranteed to take on her esteemed stable companion Quevega in the OLBG-sponsored main event at Cheltenham. Speaking to the race sponsors, Mullins said: "Glens Melody is an intended runner in the OLBG Mares' Hurdle at Warwick." The Warwick race, which was recently added to the 2014 racing calendar, enhances opportunities for mares to obtain black type and forms the next step on the Mares' Road To Cheltenham.
