Tarabiyn bids to make the perfect start to his jumping career when he lines up for champion trainer Willie Mullins in the Abbey Hotel, Roscommon 3-Y-O Maiden Hurdle at Roscommon.

The Sinndar gelding switches to the National Hunt game having had two Flat starts for the Aga Khan and John Oxx.

Steve Massey, for new owners Supreme Horse Racing Club, said: "He's an ex-Aga Khan three-year-old and he's been going well at home.

"You never know until they go and do it on the racecourse, but hopefully the dream is still alive after tomorrow.

"You can't get much better than Aga Khan-bred horses and I think Willie has won with every Sinndar horse he's had from the Aga Khan, so hopefully this horse will be another one.

"We also have Verawal, who is another Aga Khan horse by Sinndar, and he'll be out before too long as well."

Of those to have run, Lady Clitico Glance Of Doon and Cabarete look set to give the Mullins newcomer the most to think about.

The Supreme syndicate has enjoyed great success over the last year or so together with Mullins, and can again look forward with some justification to the new campaign proper.

Massey said: "It's a really exciting time of year as the jumpers will be coming out before too long and we've plenty of new horses we're looking forward to seeing in action.

"The club has had 45 winners since we started three years ago and we're running on a 43 per cent strike-rate this season, so things are going great. If we can reach the 50-winner mark before Christmas we'll be delighted."
