Oaks winner set for Japan trip Dancing Rain will head off to Japan later this month to continue her glittering season in the Queen Elizabeth II Commemorative Cup. William Haggas' front-runner, who won the English and German Oaks, returned after a late summer break to lead for the duration of last Saturday's Qipco British Champions Fillies' And Mares' Stakes at Ascot. She will now bid to emulate the previous year's Oaks winner Snow Fairy, who captured the valuable Grade One in Kyoto. "She's fine," Haggas told At The Races. "We always planned to give her a bit of a break and you are always going to have a hard race like that (Ascot), but she was relentless. "We are planning to fly her out on Saturday week and she races on November 13th. "I'm not sure what she'll do next year but we're very much planning to keep her in training. "The owners understand they may never get another one as good and they would like to enjoy her."
