A six-length winner of a Leopardstown maiden in October 2023, Ocean Of Dreams (9/2 joint-favourite) recorded his first victory since that debut success when taking the first division of Sligo's Callan Tansey Handicap Hurdle.

Oran McGill did the steering on the ex-Ballydoye inmate and brought him from mid-division to lead approaching the last in the two-and-a quarter-mile contest.

The Fastnet Rock gelding, trained by the winning rider's father Gary McGill for the Moss Star Syndicate, went away to defeat  Jurality by a comfortable six lengths.

"We were a bit disappointed the last day at Wexford, but we might have got the trip (2m4f) wrong," said the winning rider.

"Back over shorter seemed to suit and he has a bit of Flat class and speed, so he carried me into it well.

"He has a bit of a high knee action, so the cut in the ground helped, and he'll be kept lit now for the winter."
