Palmer making plans Hugo Palmer is keen to step Mootasadir up in both class and trip in the Betway Fairway Stakes at Newmarket on May 19. The Newmarket handler has earmarked the mile-and-a-quarter Listed prize as the next target for the son of Dansili, who is unbeaten in two starts on the all-weather and has yet to run on the turf. Palmer said: “He looks a very good horse. He has taken his last race at Wolverhampton well. “The plan is now to step him up to Listed company and take him to Newmarket at the end of the month for the Fairway Stakes. “Hopefully that will go well, as the big plan is the Hampton Court Stakes at Royal Ascot.” Palmer hopes recent Yarmouth scorer Corrosive can book his ticket to the Royal meeting at the Berkshire track on Friday. He said: “The plan is is to run Corrosive in a mile handicap at Ascot. “If that all goes to plan we are hoping we can take him back there next month for the Britannia.”
