Peace News to be upped in trip Henry de Bromhead believes a step up in trip could help Peace News regain the winning thread. An impressive winner on his Irish bow at Cork in November, Peace News crashed out at the second-last flight in the Royal Bond Novices Hurdle last month before keeping on for fifth in another Grade One heat at Leopardstown last week. De Bromhead felt his charge perhaps found two miles on yielding ground too sharp a test. "He looked like he was going to be beaten a long way, and then he sort of stayed at it. He won on heavy ground at Cork, I was starting to wonder after the Royal Bond did he just want a bit further. "He had this amazing reputation, but he won on heavy ground in Cork so maybe on the better ground he might just want a bit further hopefully."
