Willie Mullins' exciting mare Annie Power is among just seven possible runners in Saturday's Coral Hurdle at Ascot on Saturday.

The Grade One contest was reopened for an extra 24 hours after insufficient entries were received but no more contenders were forthcoming.

Annie Power could be one of the future stars of the National Hunt game and is unbeaten in her seven races to date, signing off last season with a Grade One success at Faiyhouse.

Mullins has also entered Zaidpour, winner of the Hatton's Grace last season, in the same Rich and Susannah Ricci ownership,

Paul Nicholls has entered Zarkandar, who only only met with defeat once last season when fourth behind Hurricane Fly in the Champion Hurdle. He later stepped up in trip at Aintree to beat The New One.

Another interesting entry is Jeremy Scott's Melodic Rendezvous, who had been in the mix for the Fighting Fifth Hurdle at Newcastle next week.

Nicky Henderson has picked out Rolling Star from his huge team as his possible representative while Charlie Longsdon has entered Magnifique Etoile, who returned from a lengthy absence with a win at Stratford.

Karen McLintock's Bygones Of Brid completes the list.
