Russell hopes to be back at the weekend

Davy Russell who has been on the sidelines since Punchestown hopes to be back race riding at the weekend. He got the all clear from Dr Paddy Kenny this morning.

Russell injured his left thumb following a heavy fall from the Gordon Elliott trained Tharawatt on last day of the Punchestown Festival.
