Ross O’Sullivan is eyeing a big pot with Slurricane at Leopardstown over Christmas.

The Kodiac gelding was last seen finishing third to Zillow in a competitive contest at Fairyhouse late last month and was a touch unlucky then having been hampered at the final flight.

He now has his sights set on the €100,000 Neville Hotels Premier Handicap Hurdle on Monday December 29th.

O'Sullivan Excited for Leopardstown Bid

"He's a horse we are very excited about over Christmas,” said the Kill handler.

"He goes for that good Listed handicap, all going well. He loves soft ground and the softer the better.

"He was probably unlucky not to be second the last day but wouldn't have beat the winner.

"He came out of the race unscathed after nearly being brought down.

"Hopefully, off his mark he will be competitive."
