Star continues chasing education Alan Fleming believes Starluck has brushed up his jumping ahead of his second start over fences at Sandown this weekend. The talented hurdler was considered a possible Arkle Trophy contender prior to his chasing debut at Huntingdon last month, but while he won on the bridle, connections decided to sidestep the Cheltenham Festival. Fleming wants to get more experience into his charge tomorrow, and hopes he can book a ticket to Aintree with a good show in the paddypower.com Extra Places At Cheltenham Novices' Chase. "Hopefully everything goes well as he's in super form at the moment," said Fleming. "Tony (McCoy) had a jump on him on Wednesday and was very happy with him. He thought his jumping had improved a good bit since Huntingdon. "We're going to have another go and, all going well, the plan would be to go to Aintree with him. "He was a bit careful at one or two but you'd rather him that way than the other way. "It's quite a decent race at Sandown and he's not going to get everything his own way, so he should learn a lot." Fleming also saddles likely pacemaker Gandalfe, while Gary Moore's Harry Tricker and the David Pipe-trained Mamlook complete a fascinating four-runner field.
