Tote strikes deal with French From today all Tote Ireland account holders will be able to bet directly into French PMU pools. Initially this arrangement will be comfined to win and place pools on the principal French race meeting of the day. Alexis Murphy, Chief Executive of Tote Ireland, said: "PMU have been betting into our pools for three years now and this is a great opportunity for Tote punters to gain access to the PMU pools. With massive win pools many high stakes punters will be tempted to bet through the Tote into the PMU pools." Aymeric Verlet, Head of International at PMU said: "We are delighted that Tote customers will be able to join the PMU common pool on French racing.
