Weapon's Amnesty ruled out for the season

Weapon's Amnesty has been ruled out for the season due to a recurrence of an injury.

Charles Byrnes' eight year old has not been out since winning the RSA Chase at Cheltenham in 2010 having sustained a ligament injury in the Festival contest.

Paddy Power Racing announced via Twitter that the leading Cheltenham Gold Cup contender had been ruled out for the season: "Weapons Amnesty, not seen since wining the RSA Chase 19 months ago, is announced this evening as being out for this season due to an injury recurrence."
