Wetherby on & Kelso inspect This afternoon's meeting at Wetherby goes ahead after officials cancelled their planned inspection. The threat of frost had prompted the call for an 8am inspection but with the track already fit for action, the meeting has been given the green light. The track tweeted: "Dry overnight with frost of -1.5C. Inspection cancelled and racing goes ahead. Dry, bright day ahead, with maximum temperaturess of 4C." Sunday's meeting at Kelso is subject to an 8am inspection on raceday morning. The track is currently reported to be frozen in places after temperatures dropped below freezing overnight, with another frost forecast in the early part of this evening. However, temperatures are forecast to climb from midnight and officials will assess conditions in the morning. Today's racing in Ireland takes place at Punchestown, with the first on a seven-race card getting underway at 12.25. The feature is the Grade 2 Sky Bet Moscow Flyer Novice Hurdle, and the going is soft (soft to heavy in places on the chase course).
