Young takes opener at Clonmel The opening race this evening at Clonmel, The Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden was won by the Lesley Young trained Surprise Vendor at odds of 20/1 under Franco Da Silva. Winning trainer Young said afterwards, "She has been working well at home she has probably improved from a 2 year old to a 3 year old. Franco used ride her as a two year old for us. The plan was to go to Gowran Park next week but we'll have to see now."
