A first for Moran over Hurdles Eoin Griffin was in the winner's enclosure this evening after he landed with The Firville Handicap Hurdle with Cluain Cearbhan under Damian Moran, making it the jockeys first win over hurdles. Griffin said afterwards, "Damian [Moran] works for me and he's a good lad he rode a winner for Con Collins on the flat. The horse has been showing the effects of a long season and we will give him a break now. He will make an ok chaser in the future."
