Alkazim second yet again The David Wachman trained Alkazim finish in the runner-up spot for the fourth time in succession, today in the 200,000 Tattersalls Millions Median Auction Trophy at Newmarket. The Wayne Lordan ridden son of Holy Roman Emperor came through late to take second at 12/1 as the winner Tell Dad for Richard Hannon and Richard Mullen went on to score by two and three parts of a length. That fellow was the lesser fancied of Richard Hannon's two, with his other runner Coupe de Ville back in fifth at the odds of 3/1 favourite. Meanwhile the David Nagle trained Maarek finished a good fourth in the William Hill Ayr Silver Cup earlier today at the price of 25/1.
