The fall of Ballycasey in a post-racing schooling session was the main talking point from the workout for Cheltenham candidates at Leopardstown this evening.

The Willie Mullins-trained RSA Chase hopeful and rider Ruby Walsh were both none the worse of the tumble and were later reunited for a confidence restoring jump at the final fence.

On the plus side for Mullins and Walsh, Champagne Fever put in a fine round of jumping in preparation for a possible tilt at the Arkle Chase while Boston Bob also schooled over fences.

Our Conor worked nicely on the flat under Danny Mullins with two stablemates, while the Shark Hanlon’s Hidden Cyclone was another to jump a circuit of the Leopardstown fences.

Don Cossack was part of a large team from the Gordon Elliott yard to complete a circuit gallop of the Foxrock track.
