Bishopton will bid for a third win this year when lining up in the Christmas Party Nights At Dundalk Handicap, the feature on an eight-race card on the Polytrack this Wednesday.

The Natalia Lupini-trained gelding won his maiden here back in August and again scored in clearcut fashion over seven furlongs at Down Royal the following month.

The son of Invincible Spirit now drops back to six furlongs, but Lupini’s partner and assistant trainer Craig Bryson doesn’t believe that will be an issue.

“He loves the track. We are dropping him back to six for the first time with us, but sure we have plenty of pace and worth a shot at it,” said Bryson.

"I think he is rated 83 on the all-weather now, so he has to come up for those sorts of races."

The son of Invincible Spirit filled the runner-up spot on his other two visits to Dundalk at the end of last year.
