Bowe aims for more glory with Kashline Little King Robin has flown the flag for trainer Colin Bowe with great aplomb in recent months and, with the talented mare currently enjoying a well-earned break, the Co. Wexford handler is hoping Kashline can prove another high-profile horse for the yard as he tackles a dozen rivals in the Weatherbys Ireland GSB Handicap Chase at Punchestown on Sunday. The eight-year-old gelding has shown a liking for this venue in the past with victories in a maiden hurdle and also a course and distance success last month when staying on strongly at the finish. Bowe is hopeful of another big run in this 23,500 euro two-and-three-quarter-mile event, which would justify his entry in the Paddy Power Chase at Leopardstown on December 27. He said: "The ground will suit him and he has enough experience now in handicaps. He's in good form. He's not the biggest horse in the world but he likes a good galloping track like Punchestown. "If he comes out of this race safe and sound and good and fresh he'll be going for the Paddy Power Chase." The Ted Walsh-trained Foxrock shoulders top-weight, while others to consider include Grand Jesture and Folsom Blue. Bowe has further prospects elsewhere on the seven-race card with Tawseef in the two-mile CBRE Property Advisors Supporting Kilmacud Crokes Rated Novice Hurdle, and Mells Theater in the 2015 Annual Membership Maiden Hurdle. The Kiltealy trainer said: "Tawseef would ideally want two and a half miles but we'll put a pair of blinkers on him and bounce him out in front. He's got a lot of experience for a novice and we'll make use of that. "Mells Theater ran well the last day and is a big, backward type of horse. We were happy with his run the last day (second to No More Heroes in a Punchestown maiden) and he'll appreciate a bit of nice ground as well."
