Brendan Daly, the secretary of Listowel Racecourse passed away peacefully at his home last night.

Brendan born in 1924 was a highly respected member of the racing community and began working at Listowel in 1951.

The funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday 15th September in St. Mary's Church Listowel at 11:30am followed by burial in St. Michael's Cemetery.

May he rest in peace.
