Build A Bridge was another all-the-way winner at Gowran Park in the Gerry Comerford Drilling Beginners Chase over two and a half miles.

It looked significant that Danny Mullins partnered him over his mother's Eternal Reward and Build A Bridge was notably strong in the market this morning as he was was backed from 4/1 to 11/8.

He went off the 6/4 favourite and the prominent racer jumped predominantly from fence to fence. He had his opponents toiling between the final two fences and kept up the gallop, on chasing debut, to score by four and three quarter lengths from Eternal Reward (11/1). Clody Diamond (14/1) was just under a length away in third.

Build A Bridge won a handicap hurdle at Punchestown last month.

Rory Devine said: "That was brilliant now. Danny was in there during the week and schooled him and he was delighted.

"The horse loved that ground there today.

"It was a bit of a heart in the mouth moment there at the second last with a circuit to go.

"He won well at the finish with plenty in hand. He's a horse on the up.

"This was the plan today, we'll have a look for something else now. He loves that good ground so, if it stays like that we might look for something maybe over Christmas at Leopardstown or something like that."
