Carberry set to return on Sunday Paul Carberry is set to return to action at Fairyhouse on Sunday, having spent almost a month on the sidelines with a collapsed lung. Carberry took a nasty spill when the Noel Meade-trained Jaamid came to grief at the 13th fence of the Jewson Novices' Handicap Chase at the Cheltenham Festival. The jockey will be fit for the valuable meeting at Fairyhouse on Sunday, however, where he could partner Meade's Aran Concerto in the Grade One Powers Gold Cup. "He'll be riding Sunday," confirmed his agent, Ciaran O'Toole. "He suffered serious injuries, but he's back in good shape and set to resume on Sunday. "He won't be riding Saturday but he'll be riding Sunday, and we'll hope for the best." The news means Carberry should also be available to ride in the Powers Whiskey Irish Grand National on Easter Monday.
