Chepstow goes ahead This afternoon's National Hunt meeting at Chepstow has passed a 9am precautionary inspection and goes ahead as planned. The Monmouthshire circuit had a "light overnight frost", but temperatures had risen to above freezing by the time clerk of the course Keith Ottesen assessed conditions. The going is soft, heavy in places, with the six-race card set to begin at 1.40pm. A bright, sunny day has been forecast, with a maximum high of 4C forecast.
