Cillian's sold to JP McManus Owner/trainer Bill Farrell has revealed his promising bumper horse Cillian's Return has been sold to JP McManus. Victorious at Fairyhouse on New Year's Day, some of Cillian's Return's previous form reads very well with a fourth placing behind Le Vent D'Antan and a second behind Champion Bumper market leader Black Hercules to his name. His Fairyhouse success saw him beat Dermot Weld-trained short-priced favourite Vigil by an eased down two and a half lengths, making virtually all. Curragh-based Farrell explained: "Cillian's Return has been sold. JP McManus bought him and he went to Martinstown (the owner's stud) as I understand. "I'm not sure what the story with him beyond that is."
