Crowd & Tote both down at the Curragh Both the crowd and Tote figures at the Curragh were down from last year. The attendance of 10,384 was down from 10,978 while the Tote Aggregate of E626,042 was also down from E684,664 twelve months ago. Speaking after racing Paul Hensey, who is the General Manager at the Curragh, said: "It was purely weather related. Our pre-sales were on a par with last year. We had a wonderful day last year and good walk up business. "Ten thousand is a great result any day and it's out second biggest meeting of the year. It's something to build on for next year."
