Dandy Man colt in demand at Goffs Day two of the Goffs February Sale saw some intense competition on Wednesday among many of Europe's leading buyers and topping the day was an exceptional Dandy Man colt (Lot 260) from regular Goffs supporters Collegelands Stud. After some enthusiastic bidding it was Peter & Ross Doyle Bloodstock who secured the much sought after relation to high class 2 year olds Johannes and Tamnia on behalf of Glenvale Stud for €86,000. Cashel Bloodstock enjoyed a successful day with their debut consignment at Goffs, and heading their draft was a popular son of Kodiac (Lot 305). Tally-Ho Stud went to €72,000 to take home this close relation to American superstars Rags To Riches and Jazil. Following an excellent first day with Tuesday's top price Le Havre filly, Airlie Stud were once again to the fore with a colt by New Approach (Lot 399) from the family of Breeders' Cup Mile winner Domedriver. The colt was purchased by Richard Fitzsimons of BBA Ireland for €60,000. As on Day 1, it was The Beeches Stud and their flagship sire Flemensfirth that provided the most expensive of the National Hunt offerings. Lot 472 is an own-brother to Dan Skelton's promising Knockgraffon and is related to Champion Hurdle winners Morley Street and Granville Again. The colt had no shortage of admirers in the ring and was eventually knocked down to Richard Frisby for €41,000.
