Following an inspection this morning at Down Royal the track was found to be fit for racing and the fixture scheduled for today goes ahead.

The ground is heavy after a further 8mm of rain since the latest update.

Dry conditions are expected in County Down today with a generally cloudy Thursday ahead with a low risk of heavy showers during racing.

Action on a seven race programme is set to commence at 1.15 and the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Rated Novice Chase is the most valuable event of the session.
