Gordon Elliott took the training honours at Downpatrick with a treble thanks to the efforts of Knight's Parade High Net Worth and Definite Ruby

Knight's Parade was sent off the 6-5 favourite for the opening At The Races Maiden Hurdle and did it well, though there was drama at the final flight as Myblueeyedgirl was in front when she came down.

The eventual winner was still going strongly at that point and wasn't far away, and once he cleared the last Barry Geraghty's mount quickly skipped away to beat Ram Them All by a comfortable eight lengths.

Geraghty was in the plate again when Definite Ruby took the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Beginners Chase to follow up her second placing behind the useful Alelchi Inois in a Grade Three at Galway last time.

It wasn't all plain sailing for the 8-11 favourite as she was never travelling well, but she got the better of a struggle with Draycott Place in the end to win by four and a half lengths.

Kevin Sexton gave High Net Worth (6-1) a confident ride in the Cheering Rory Handicap Hurdle, delivering a smooth challenge after jumping the last in fourth place and sweeping past to beat The Two Jays by a length and a quarter.

Colin McBratney's 9-1 chance Obispo was always prominent in the Ryder Support Beginners Chase and had the measure of long-time leader Dun Scaith when that one fell at the final obstacle, skipping away subsequently to beat Doc Hollywood by 10 lengths in the hands of Adrian Heskin.

Hot favourite Better Back Bob attempted to make all in the Horse First Supplements Maiden Hurdle and was agonisingly caught in the dying strides by Jack Doyle on his father Pat's unexposed five-year-old High Counsel (16-1), who won by a head.< Lily Of Killarney s chance looked to have gone when she lost the lead two out in the Honouring Oliver Handicap Chase, but Colin Bowe's 8-1 shot fought back on the run-in under Mark Walsh and finished three and a half lengths in front.
