Envoi all set for Down Royal highlight A nine-time winner at the highest level, Envoi Allen returns to action in the BetVictor Champion Chase at Down Royal this afternoon, with his trainer Henry de Bromhead reporting the 11-year-old to be in good form. Successful in this Grade 1 contest in 2022 and again 12-months ago, the 162-rated bay was beaten by just a neck in the 2023 renewal. Last seen finishing third in the Ryanair at Cheltenham in March, he is the current favourite for this afternoon's highlight. "Absolutely (looking forward to him), he seems in good form," de Bromhead said on Friday. "The place is in great shape, the track looks amazing. "We are up here and ready to go.
