Fanshawe outlines High Jinx plan James Fanshawe has all but ruled High Jinx out of a trip to Ascot on Champions Day but the Prix du Cadran winner may return to Longchamp for the Prix Royal-Oak. The six-year-old benefited from a positive Ryan Moore ride at the weekend and holds an entry in the Qipco British Champions Long Distance Cup next week. However, Fanshawe told The Times: " It's tough to do the two - it's a bit like doing Cheltenham and Aintree and it's highly unlikely he will run." The trainer went on: " He had a hard race in France and a long journey but there's a chance he could go back for the Prix Royal-Oak back at Longchamp the following week. "He's always been a horse with a lot of ability but gelding him has made him easier to train. It was a real reward for his owner, John Williams, who has been very patient." Fanshawe is still likely to be represented at Ascot, though, with Seal Of Approval, a winner at the meeting last year, heading his team. "Hors De Combat would not want it very soft but it's a case of the more rain the better for Seal Of Approval," Fanshawe said. "She's not really had the testing ground she likes and taken a long time to come to herself. She's an Authorized and they don't take a lot of galloping. "I just tend to leave her alone but she looks very well."
