Fiveforthree back at Punchestown

Fiveforthree has his first start since victorious in the Grade 1 Ladbrokes.com World Series Hurdle at the Festival in Punchestown in 2009 when he returns to the home of National Hunt racing for the Festival Free Upgrade Offer Ends Today Hurdle, the opener tomorrow at 1.15.

Around this time last year a career over fences was being mooted for the grey, when a cold set him back and ruled him out of a trip 'across the water.'

Now set to stay over hurdles for this season, the nine-year-old had been considered for the Galmoy Hurdle at Gowran but Mullins opted against that as he didn't want to subject him to a hard race on very bad ground. Said to be ready to run, Mullins is looking forward to him having a very good season as a novice over fences next season.

The Red Mills Hurdle (next Saturday at Gowran) was another option for Fiveforthree but he runs now tomorrow where he will face five rivals under Paul Townend in a two mile contest.

The 2008 Ballymore Properties Novices' Hurdle hero has gone well fresh in the past and his main rivals on Wednesday are Newmill, On The Way Out and Der Spieler.
