Flat Jockey Awards night postponed The Irish Flat Racing Jockey Awards, due to be held at the Louis Fitzgerald Hotel on Sunday November 6, have been postponed. It is believed that poor ticket sales for the €30 dinner and entertainment, plus the event's close proximity to the Breeders Cup, resulted in the event being cancelled. The Awards were scheduled to coincide with the end of the turf season at Leopardstown the same afternoon, and fresh plans for the occasion will follow at a later date.
