Leading National Hunt owner Brian Acheson, whose family race under the Robcour banner, has an array of talented horses in top stables in Ireland.

The Robcour colours have become a regular fixture on racecourses in Britain and Ireland, and the owner's notable successes include a double at this year's Cheltenham Festival.

The headline act was popular Stayers' Hurdle hero Bob Olinger, who led home a Robcour one-two from the five-time Grade 1 winner Teahupoo.

Air Of Entitlement also returned to the Prestbury Park winner’s enclosure having struck in the Dawn Run Mares' Novices' Hurdle.

We're looking at five of the possible stars for the season ahead in the famous black, pink and white silks of the Robcour operation.

Air Of Entitlement

The Westerner mare won the aforementioned Dawn Run Mares' Novices' Hurdle in the Cotswolds last season before being beaten at Fairyhouse over further in April.

She was a touch disappointing on her seasonal comeback when only second in a rated hurdle back at Fairyhouse behind Fad Eadrainn — though both of those most recent defeats came on testing ground and there is a good chance this mare gets back on the up for Henry de Bromhead when she gets back on better surface.

Teahupoo

He got the unwanted tag of bridesmaid as Rachael Blackmore completed her set of Cheltenham's crown jewels in the Stayers' Hurdle but it was business as usual for Teahupoo at Punchestown in May in the Champion Stayers Hurdle.

He remains the dominant force in the vision, though perhaps new names will emerge to challenge this time, with Ballyburn and The Yellow Clay amongst the possibles.

Interestingly, Gordon Elliott has suggested he'd like to make more use of Teahupoo this season, as he has typically been kept fresh for his major targets. He could be busier this season and the Ascot Hurdle in December has been mooted for the eight-year-old, with the Stayers' at Cheltenham the big target.

Only By Night

Gavin Cromwell's mare enjoyed a stellar first season over fences last time, winning her first three starts before finishing second in the Arkle at Cheltenham and the Grade 1 novice chase at Punchestown.

She was snapped up by Robcour over the summer months and made her debut in these colours at Naas on Sunday where she showed a wonderfully willing attitude to wear down Champ Kiely in the closing stages to land the Grade 3 Barberstown Castle Chase under Keith Donoghue.

She's a busy mare and there are plenty of opportunities for her in the coming months, with the Mares' Chase at the Cheltenham Festival the obvious March target, according to her trainer.

Mange Tout

Gordon Elliott retains the bulk of the Robcour arsenal and Mange Tout looks an exciting new recruit for the Cullentra handler.

The Born To Sea filly debuted at Down Royal in early November and was much fancied to win a 3YO hurdle contest, which she did in good style — adding to her sole success in France to make it 2-2.

Elliott has bagged that same contest with the likes of Quilixios, Fil Dor and Wodhooh and clearly likes to target it with a good horse.

A half-sister to Impaire Et Passe, the future already looks bright for Mange Tout and she's likely to end up in the Triumph Hurdle at Cheltenham if she progresses as hoped.

Relieved Of Duties

Having made a winning start over fences at Fairyhouse in October in beginners' company, Relieved Of Duties went to Cheltenham for the Showcase Meeting and ran a big race for Elliott and rider Danny Gilligan in the Holland Cooper 'Chasing Excellence' Novices' Chase over two-miles.

They stayed on from a long way back to finish second, unable to get near Olly Murphy's Alnilam, who helped force the pace and was always enjoying a tactical advantage on the field.

Relieved Of Duties could head back to the November Meeting in Cheltenham for their Arkle Trial, which would reveal more.

He's promising, whatever happens next, and a step up in trip could also be possible for this 3m point-to-point winner.
