Roger Varian's 2016 winner Postponed is in the Sheema Classic mix, while the Henry Candy-trained Limato is the star European name among the entries for the Al Quoz Sprint. Last year's winner Real Steel could bid for a repeat in the Dubai Turf but 2015 hero Solow, who has been off the track since last March, has not even been entered. Royal Ascot winner Tepin has been nominated but appears unlikely to run as she recently suffered a bout of colic. "This hurts the chances of us going over there (Dubai), but we're not even going to worry about it," trainer Mark Casse told the Daily Racing Form. "Everything had to go kind of perfect for us to make Dubai, and it hasn't. Her work schedule got messed up with the weather and her kicking the back of her stall a couple weeks ago, and now this. Regardless, there are plenty of other races for her this year."
