After saddling five winners at Dundalk during the week under the joint licence with Tracey Collins, Mick Halford switches his attention to the Navan Racing Festival where Tarnova represents Conyngham Lodge in the Listed mares' bumper on Sunday.

This Olympic Glory filly landed a barrier trial in Dundalk for Johnny Murtagh more than two years ago and reappeared for Halford & Collins in a mares' bumper at Punchestown last month which she won by three and three-quarter lengths at 40/1.

Halford said: "She'll run in Navan - she has come forward nicely from Punchestown.

"I was delighted with her that day, she has come forward well and has matured from that run.

"I'm not so sure about the real heavy ground, she will handle an ease in it.

"You don't get the opportunity to run in those races too often, so we will take our chance.

"Her work has been good and she is a filly with a future, up or down, whatever happens on Sunday."
