Inspection at Listowel

A precautionary inspection has been called for tomorrow's rescheduled meeting at Listowel due to an inclement weather forecast. The course is currently raceable.

The meeting was refixed following the cancellation of the final day of the Listowel Festival meeting last Saturday due to waterlogging.

The inspection will be held at 7.30am tomorrow morning due to the threat of further rain.

The going is currently described as heavy, with a yielding patch of a furlong in the back straight of the outer track. The chases will be run on the inner track, with hurdle races on the outer track.

The first on a seven race National Hunt card gets underway at 2.00pm.

Racing also takes place at Dundalk tomorrow, with an eight race card beginning at 6.00pm. The mile 47-60 handicap has been divided.

Meanwhile the going has eased to good all around at Fairyhouse following 3mm of rain in the past 24 hours. Today's seven race National Hunt meeting starts at 3.15pm.
