Narrowly denied in an attempt for a third Cheltenham Festival win last month, the Cian Collins trained Jazzy Matty will bid for redemption at Aintree.

A former winner of the Boodles Handicap Hurdle, the Cian Collins trained gelding landed the Grand Annual at Cheltenham last year.

Just touched off in that same race a fortnight ago, Jazzy Matty will make his next start at the Grand National meeting.

Collins reported: "He is great order and will go to Aintree for a 2m4f handicap hurdle.

"Cheltenham was heartbreaking but hopefully he'll be back again next year. He saves his best for Cheltenham every year and loves the track.

"He likes nice ground so I'll be hoping for that at Aintree. I'm just lucky to have him and he is a great horse for the yard."
