Juvenile duo set for another rematch Stable companions Verawal and Tarabiyn are likely to lock horns for the fourth time this season in the Knight Frank Juvenile Hurdle at Leopardstown on St Stephen's Day. After opening their account over obstacles at Down Royal and Ballinrobe respectively, the two sons of Sinndar first met at Down Royal in early November, with Verawal third and Tarabiyn a disappointing favourite in fifth. Tarabiyn reversed the form at Punchestown a couple of weeks later as the pair finished second and third, while last Sunday Verawal finished third at Grade Three level behind another stable companion in Kalkir, while Tarabiyn crashed out at the second flight. Verawal and Tarabiyn both carry the colours of the Supreme Horse Racing Club and racing manager Steve Massey said: "Verawal is a real star and so consistent in his races. He has a great attitude. "He has never let us down, finishing in the first three in all his races, and we think he'll improve for stepping up to two and a half miles plus next year. "The cheekpieces worked a treat and improved his jumping and the plan is to take on Kalkir again on December 26 at Leopardstown. "Your heart is always in your mouth when you have a faller but luckily Tarabiyn was fine afterwards and showed no ill effects whatsoever. "He will also go to Leopardstown and let's hope he gets his jumping in order, as we know he's definitely got an engine."
