A winner on her handicap debut at Leopardstown on her penultimate start, the Jessica Harrington trained Lady In Paris added a second career success when landing the Kwiff: Home Of Supercharged Betting Handicap at the Curragh.

Third at this track in a stronger contest last time, the three-year-old filly was well supported to step up two places here under Shane Foley.

Tracking the pace early on, as Glen To Glen and Tracker Issue disputed, Foley was content to ride a waiting race when the latter gelding went on after a couple of furlongs.

As the field closed up over two-furlongs out, Glen To Glen came through to lead under Dylan Browne McMonagle.

However, Foley covered that move on Lady In Paris, challenging a furlong out, before coming through to take over 150 yards out.

Staying on strongly close home, the 11/4 chance scored by two-and-a-quarter lengths.

Jessica Harrington said: “She ran really well here on Derby weekend when she was third and that was against the older horses.

“It’s extraordinary how she’s bred that she gets a mile and a quarter well being by Blue Point out of a Kyllachy mare. She could go up to a mile and a half on that showing because they went a good gallop and she outstayed all of them.”
