Listowel passes inspection Racing will go ahead at Listowel this afternoon after passing an early morning inspection. The first on a seven race National Hunt card is at 2.00pm, and the going is heavy with a yielding patch of a furlong in the back straight of the outer track. The outer track will be used for the hurdle races, while the inner track is in use for the chases. This fixture was rescheduled after the final day of the Listowel Festival meeting last Saturday was cancelled due to waterlogging. Racing also takes place at Dundalk today, with an eight race card on the polytrack beginning at 6.00pm.
